Today, the 15th of August, India celebrates her 65th Independence Day.
I know I'm guilty of not wearing red, blue and white on USA's Independence Day, but hey, I'm not going to repeat that mistake.
Though not quite the right shade of green, not definitely the right shade of orange, neither the right shade of white- but yes, I'm wearing all the colors of the Indian flag today (even though the shirt looks like blue, trust me, it is green, and, if you are still not convinced, I have green dots on the skirt)! Yippppeeee!!
The whole blogging world, and beyond, is going gaga about polka dots these days, and let me tell you, I'm no exception. I was immediately attracted to this pretty polka dot number in store, and to top it off, it had these three adorable scalloped tiers and a broad waist band to create an hour glass shape.
Today I'm linking up with The Pleated Poppy for her What I Wore Wednesday and Rolled Up Pretty for her Whatever Whenever Wednesday.
What I Am Wearing:
skirt- T J Maxx shirt- Old Navy clutch- Steve Madden flats- Express
sunnies- Guess bracelets- Charlotte Russe and gift
