A big hello to my lovely readers,
Sorry for such a prolonged absence. It was a busy but exciting week for me. My mom is visiting us from India and I'm overwhelmed to see her after almost two years. I'm totally looking forward to spend some quality time with her during her two months stay in this country.
Thank you all for being so supportive and for commenting. I'm being a little slow in visiting you all back, but I promise I'll do so in the coming few days.
I have never before shopped at Talbots.
The black and white
floral pencil skirt in the window caught my eyes and I stepped into this
hitherto unexplored zone named Talbots!
I was taken aback by the
people inside the store- every single soul inside, right from the store
manager, to the customers, from the lady at the check out to the lady in
charge of the fitting room, had a wrinkled face, gray hair and a broad,
beaming and beautiful smile!
Honestly, I was feeling so out of
place and was ready to step out, but the smiling countenances that
exuded so much warmth, pulled me in.
Immediately I was drawn to
this bright, floral pencil skirt, hanging on the clearance rack and it
came home with me. I'm not sure if Talbots is considered as an elderly
women's store, but I'm so happy with my purchase and the beautiful
people with beautiful smiles, that I'm going to step into this store again for sure.
Tell me, has anyone of you ever shopped in Talbots?
Do you think it is an elderly women's store?
Today I'm linking up with The Pleated Poppy for her What I Wore Wednesday and Still Being Molly for her YOLOMondays link up.
