We were in the bay area on days 4, 5 and 6, spending time with family and friends.
In the evening of Day 6 we drove down to southern CA and no prize for guessing, the very first day there was spent in the Universal Studios.
The next day was spent in the scenic city of San Diego. The first stop was the very obvious, Sea World and the day ended at the beautiful La Jolla Cove beach.

Vacation Snapshots- Day 3...

On the third day of our vacation, tired already from the travel (almost 14 hours with stop over and flight delay) and from the first two hectic days of sight seeing, not to mention the late nights with friends and family and the time difference, we woke up late and decided to take it easy.
It was a bright, sunny day, ideal for the beach. So we headed to the Santa Cruz Beach just to chill out and relax and of course, for some guilt free consumption of junk food like corn dogs and chili cheese fries, chocolate ice cream topped with choco-chips and dark chocolate flakes and mango-pineapple smoothie.

Vacation Snapshots- Day 1 and 2...

We just returned after a 12 day vacation in the Golden state- California.
It was a fun vacation, spending time with friends and family but a hectic one too as we traveled a lot from the north to the south of California.
Day 1 was spent in the charming city of San Francisco and on day 2 we took the 17 miles scenic drive along the Monterey bay ending our day at Carmel by the sea.

The outfit on both days were pretty similar, I just swapped the color-blocked blue skirt with a floral one.
I thought it is going to be all sunny and hot in CA so I carried just one outerwear for those chilly nights in San Francisco but turned out that the entire bay area in Northern CA as well as in Southern CA I badly needed the jacket. The weather was pretty unpredictable, warm and sunny at times and cold and windy near the ocean and at nights!
